The Company was originally set up in 1876 by Frank Hedges who was a Worcestershire native. The original workshop stood on the site of the Weavers Building in Worcester Road, Bromsgrove. Working from there for around 80 years the company was handed down from father to son.

During the1960's we moved to Willow Road under the guidance of Frank's Great Grandson Roy, this area was then redeveloped by Bromsgrove Council into Housing stock during the early 2000’s and Since 2009 we have been trading from our new home in Howard Road, Redditch.

The Company has always been well known throughout the Bromsgrove, Redditch and Worcestershire area for a friendly traditional service for all building steelwork needs both Commercial and Domestic. Frank Hedges Steel has employed many local skilled and semi skilled people over the years and bought through several successful apprentices still working in the steel industry today.
